A Ford Focus broke down on the way home from work. The cause was a failed fuel pump, and with no access to the pump under the rear seats, the tank had to come out. With the landowner’s permission the car was moved off the road and fixed on the spot, ready for the owner to pick up.

Terry’s starter motor job is the other kind of story: “The mechanic came out on a Sunday and sourced a starter motor for my car and installed it in great time.”
